I’m not afraid to admit that I straight-up do not understand half the apps that are on my phone. I am, frankly, as dumb as a bag of hammers, and any particularly drastic UI or functionality update will render me completely lost. As such, I am highly sympathetic to whichever person accidentally left the cat filter on while livestreaming a press conference being given by a minister in the Pakistani government.
As the SBS is reporting, the provincial information minister of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Yousuf Shaukat Zai, spent a good few minutes as an adorable cat on a Facebook livestream, with the video eventually taken down after it went viral.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the party to which the minister belongs, posted a statement acknowledging the filter and blaming the cock-up on “human error“:
