A freshly released TV spot showed Danvers joining the ranks of her fellow Avengers where we’re shown scenes of Iron Man, Captain America and Thor from their first movies, before a montage of scenes of Larson in action.

The on-screen captions explain that “some are built, some are made [and] some are born” heroes, before inviting the audience to “discover what makes her a hero” in the new movie.

The premise of the film is as follows:

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with questions about her past and identity when Earth is caught in the center of a galactic conflict between two alien worlds.
