Jordyn Woods appears to have shaken off the Kardashian / Jenner energy and is cementing herself as a celebrity in her own right, as seen by the press trip the newfound beauty boss has been on since returning to the spotlight.

Woods most recently travelled to Nigeria for Easter weekend to participate in the Homecoming Nigeria festival where she spoke on a panel.
Naturally, the interviewer asked about the Kylie Jenner / Khloé Kardashian / Tristan Thompson sitch and Woods managed to use this as an inspirational teaching moment about bullying.
“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world,” she said.
“I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman—in a just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have to live it.”

The chat comes after Woods told TMZ that she will “always” love her ex-bestie, Kylie.

Woods, who was forced to move out of Kylie’s house as a result of the scandal, remains estranged from the family, and a source recently told PEOPLE that the pair don’t speak anymore.
“It’s still a tricky situation for Kylie. And no one is actually putting too much pressure on her,” the source said. “Her family is aware that she is in contact with Jordyn. They are letting Kylie figure things out for herself.”
